VoIP Gateway 4 Port Siemens HiPath 1120/1150 is a device that allows normal Telkom PSTN lines to be integrated with the VoIP network of your choice.
The 4 port gateway is a board for use with the Siemens HiPath 1120 or HiPath 1150 which will convert your four analog landlines to real time IP.
The gateway permits direct connection of 10/100 Mbps ethernet LANs to Hipath 1120/Hipath 1150 systems.
This makes VOICE, FAX and DATA communications possible via an PSTN carrier network from any PC networked via the LAN
The gateway supports standardised voice over IP networks. (VOIP)
Simply connect to PSTN ports on the pabx and then to your internet router, configure your voip account from your chosen ISP and away you go. No need to throw out your pabx switchboard or replace it.
Gateways provide 4, 8, or 16 ports to connect analog telephone lines or PABX extension interface to VoIP networks. It is a cost-effective and reliable solution for office-to-office voice connectivity.
