CORDLESS DECT PABX - No wires or surface cabling required

This wireless dect pabx phone system uses a maximum of one ISDN Line to connect to the dect base unit and acts as a DECT base station for connection of Siemens DECT enabled cordless phones.

With an ISDN line one can apply to Telkom for Multi Subscriber Numbers (MSN) and then one is able to assign specific MSN numbers to specific dect cordless handsets. Telkom issue groups of twenty MSN numbers at an additional cost (check with Telkom for pricing) per group.

The Siemens Dect PABX system can handle up to 8 cordless mobile handsets (user extensions) as well as one analogue extension (for fax or telephone handset). One can also set up three answering machines and these can take messages or leave a recorded announcements for when you are out the office. You can even set up specific hours for receiving calls. If you are out of the office the phone system can also forward calls on to you.

For larger homes or offices the Siemens dect pabx system can also have up to 6 Gigaset Repeaters (range extenders) connected to it thus extending the cordless talk range.
